CW ALERT 15/02/15 2221 UTC ROBBERY 1° 10' 2" N 103° 26‘ 8" E

An attempted robbery was reported on board a Panama-Flagged Bulk Carrier at 0521
LT. The alarm was immediately raised upon sighting the robbers and all crew mustered.
The Vessel has since been reported as safe and is en-route to Japan via Singapore Strait.
Nothing was reported to be stolen.
CW ALERT 24/02/15 2215 UTC ROBBERY 1° 4' 4" N 103° 36' 4" E

CW ALERT 0070-15 A report states that four robbers armed with long knives boarded a bulk carrier while
underway around 5nm SW of Pulau Nipah, Indonesia. The 4th Engineer noticed the
robbers and informed the Bridge who then raised the alarm, sent a SSAS alert and
mustered the crew. Upon hearing the alarm and seeing the crew alertness the robbers
CW Alert 0066-15 escaped. A search was carried out throughout the ship and it has been reported that
the generator spares were stolen. When the ship arrived and dropped anchor at
Singapore, the police boarded to carried out an investigation.
